A known peculiarity of Dyslexics is their inability to read nonsense words. However, when the written material is placed in the “clear spot”, i.e., the student’s best position in the reading arc, they can clearly read nonsense words. Watch this video of a 5th grade girl as she attempts to read nonsense words on the desktop, then in position “C” of the reading arc. This shows that the brain functions correctly when she can see the words clearly.
